Numbers make my stomach hurt, so I can't even wrap my brain around this. I will say that as a former dance teacher and choreographer, I spent a lot of my life counting in eights. If I had to pick a favorite number, I'd choose 3. Much less intimidating I think.
8 is an even easily divisible number. How is it random?!?!?!
It’s nice to know my husband isn’t the only one thinking in numbers constantly. I often look at him deep in thought and dream up scenarios where he’s thinking about vacations, the meaning of life, our family, etc. But every single time I ask, “what are you thinking about?” His answer is ALWAYS, “numbers”.
Numbers are his favorite things. Just this morning he told me, "you don't want to know about all the numbers I was crunching last night." I told him, "yes, I don't want to know. Stop doing that!" We're debt free with only 7 years left on our mortgage. He doesn't have to worry about numbers. He just loves thinking about them. They're his favorite things to ponder. So weird!!!! But I love weirdos... so there's that....❤️
For 4.5 years my PO Box number was 888 and it felt like magic. Thanks for sharing this, Amy and Aaron. I love hearing about others internal processes. I think we often shy away from sharing these parts of ourselves and they're what make us so relatable.
Also, hello. I see "husband" did y'all just get married? Previously, I recall you saying "partner". I want to make sure I'm saying the right thing. 💐
We just celebrated our 27th anniversary! Egads! I still accidentally call him “boyfriend.” 😁 Thanks for reading. It’s cool to know another person super interested in process.
This is fun. Tell Aaron I was born on the eighth. March. I expect a celebration. Love you. Weren’t we supposed to talk today? I’m around all week! Slam post out tomorrow. I miss you!!! xoxoxo No one gets that many xo’z.
Your husband sounds very smart

So, you might get occasionally tired of a life of eights! Hear that, random?!😁
I am right with you, though. Number 3 for the win!
