Loved hearing the story and the back story. Nailing (had to do it! 😉) impact in 5 minutes is a wild skill. Does the Moth bleep out the juicy parts? Hope you tell it there some day, regardless. And congrats, again, on winning. Even if it was close, take the 🏆 or ☕️

Thank you! I think they’ll just score me lower? It’s hard to predict how people will react to “many fucks.” I think it’s totally harmless but . . .

In my house, "fuck" meant oh no, go hide because Dad is mad and about to start throwing things. I appropriated it for myself early though and now it can mean anything from wow, to hell no to hmmmm to intercourse/sex. It's multipurpose.

(And sorry about yer fuckin’ DAD!)

Seriously, it’s the best word. My favorite.

HA! I guess it depends on where you were raised. In Jersey, just outside of NYC, my family and relatives always swore so I grew up saying fuck but never connected it to fuck-ING. In my world, it was just something you said to people who pissed you off. And thx. for the memories of rolling joint after joint because in my day, that IS what we did! Unless a friend's brother came back from Vietnam and brought some Thai stick with him, our stuff just wasn't as strong as it is today.

Ha ha yep. I had loadie parents so joints and roach clips were the norm. They were often passed to me on accident! I can still hear the sound of seeds rolling down a cookie tin lid (my mom making her perfectly rolled joints).

Joint rolling is a lost art that used to be handed down generation to generation. You kids and your prerolls!

I rolled ‘em, Roberta, promise! Cigs, too, for a spell!

Teach your children well!

This is great, Amy. I'm going to recommend this stack on WBTYS. Love. xo

💜💜💜 Thank you. I should be recommending Whammy Bammy already but if I’m not I’ll fix it. 😁
